One More Week...

Next time this week I will be getting off a plane in Washington D.C. Part of me is so excited but the other part is kind-a sad, as I will miss my kiddos!
The following image was taken in February of 2006, at the grave site of John F. Kennedy.

Two Weeks Until Washington DC....

This was taken at Arlington National Cemetery, in February of 2006, so it was a tad cold, but I still think it's a beautiful picture! I can't wait to go back to Arlington and shoot there again.

Four Weeks And Counting...

Continuing my countdown until I head to Washington D.C. is a shot of my son Heath. It is near and dear to my heart for a couple of reasons. One, he's my 3rd son, my baby. Two, because this was not only my first awarded and published shot, but was also chosen for Kodak Picture of the Day for Memorial Day 2007! What an honor! Making it so special? Heath had just learned to read, so while he was reading the names on the wall, someone came and left flowers to their loved one... making the title to this image "Always Remember"
