Meet Dave... he also happens to be my handsome son... he is a senior at Volcano Vista HS this year! We are very proud of him, and all he's accomplished these 4 years of high school.
I was torn about his pictures, I wanted to give him the choice between me doing his images, or having them done in a Studio... so we tried both... to my delight, we both loved our session the most, so these are what we went with and ordered! ;)

The colors in this shot were so vivid.... I simply love it!
I was hired for quite a few spots this Wedding! The Day began where the Bridal party was getting ready, then we went to an open field for the group shots. The ceremony took place at a golf course, which was simply perfect. And the night ended at the Reception, where there was fun to be had by all!

This family is truly beautiful inside and out... (and yes, i have a soft spot for multiples)

The last couple of client meetings, I have been asked what a Engagement Signature Board is! So I thought I would show you all! There are so many choices, options, and ways to display/ decorate with them. All boards are 16x20, with an 8x10 (your choice of pose and color option)

Location Ideas? Some of my clientele choose to display them at both the Ceremony as well as the Reception. Some choose to soley do a board, while others choose to do a board as well as a book. All boards come on a easel, but are able to hang on your wall later on. This board is available with your Engagement Session.

Remember this belly... Denise was one of my favorite Maternity clients ever! The above photo is from our session back in 2008 when she was pregnant with Peyton, and her husband Fred was in Korea serving our country. Today I got to do a session with all 3 of them! This time however, she is pregnant with Hayden! My son Heath, who is my youngest son, just turned 10! He is so excited to be in the double digits, but I have to tell you it breaks my heart alittle that he is so big.... One of his favorite things right now is baseball, so when we did his 10 year session we decided to go with the things he loves.
The Sandlot is one of his favorite movies, which is why he chose this outfit. His favorite all time team is the NY Yankees, and his favorite player is CC Sabathia. My favorite part of this session is how they truly reflect Heath and his personality. I did NOT pose him for most of them, simply told him what to do, but the camera Loves Heath, so he works it rather well!

We decided to take a little down time, prior to him leaving and go to White Sands, NM.

Where have I been?? Well let's see I had tons of brides print orders to catch up on. Then Kevin and I borrowed our niece for Valentines Day..... We found out Kevin will be deploying, booked Weddings, and am now catching my breathe, I am now ready to be full force again! I will be in White Sands, New Mexico March 15-18, March 27, May 15 and 30 are booked, as is June 10, so the sooner the better if you need me!

Meet Andrea and Shane my awesome couple from Saturdays Wedding... My First Christmas Wedding.. and it turned out georgeous if I do so so my self! Red, White, Black, and Snowflakes being the theme, with the photograph collection Andrea went with, we were able to visit quite a few spots. We began at the church where she and her ladies got dressed, after the ceremony, we went to Old Town... and took advantage of the beautiful decor downtown! Then we ended the evening at The Nativo Hotel. I am so honored to have been chosen by Andrea and Shane to photograph everlasting memories from their awesome day!

Remebering 9/11 Eight Years Later...

Eight Years ago our lives were forever changed.... I think as an American, and also as an Air Force Wife it is very important to pay tribute every year to all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. I also feel it important to pay tribute to those men and women who serve our country in one form or another. Last year I posted New York, and Ground Zero, this year however, I wanted to post The Pentagon Memorial. Kevin and I just visited there in April, as it only very recently opened. It was beautiful and humbling all at the same time. We were told at the site by a grounds women, that the benches pointing toward the pentagon are in honor of the lives that were taken inside of the building, the benches pointing away from the building are in honor of those who died in the plane. Please hug a loved one today...

Meet Felicia and Juan... they have a fairytale love story that began when Felicia was 11! They were such a beautiful couple, When they said I Do, Felicia grabbed him with such enthusiasm and gave Juan the biggest kiss! I told her that is the most excited I have ever seen a bride! :) The ceremony was held in a beautiful chapel, and then we walked over to a duck pond. My favorite however is in front of this drop dead beautiful backdrop, where Juan was whistling to make Felica smile! What a gorgeous couple!

Engagement Signature Board! {Albuquerque Wedding Photographer}

Until recently, I was under the impression that all couples knew what a Engagement Signature Board was! Then I began getting emails and questions from my couples, about the board. So I decided at this particular wedding to take a few shots of it just for my couples, who were unaware exactly what the board does!
A few of my couples choose to do different things with their board; they chose it be ready for the rehearsal dinner, as to only have their closest friends and family sign the board.
Most of my couples however, choose to take it to the Ceremony and then to the Reception as well! This gives the guest the opportunity to sign it as well.
Weather my couples choose to keep it close and intimate, or allow all their loved ones to sign it, I always have it ready for you a week prior to the Wedding!

The image is taken at the Engagement Session. Then you choose which 8x10 Image you would like in the center of your board!

This couple choose to bring their board to the reception as well! Giving the guests who missed it at the church the opportunity to sign it!

One of the things we were able to do while in San Antonio was go on the River Walk Boat Tour at night... What an amazing experiance! We saw some beautiful art, lights and learned quite a bit of information I am sure we would not have known otherwise!

Can you go to Texas and not see The Alamo? If you look right behind it to the right that is the Davey Crockett hotel, he stayed in... Known as the Tower of the Americas...... I thought this was beautiful!

What an awesome way to see the city at night... I would have loved to go on these, but we didn't have time.

When Michelle hired me back at the first of the year she told me they were a "Yours Mine and Ours" Family! And what a beautiful family at that they are~! The bridal party was pretty amazing themselves! We had great laughs trying to get all of the adults, never less a 7 month old, 3 year old and 4 year old who were soooo done by this time! I thought they did pretty well! :)
As Michelle and Olin were on the way down to me, a spectator from the hotel whistles... Olin and Michelle, had the most sincere smiles on their faces as Olin lifted his hand in a Right On Greet! As many of my brides do, Michelle wanted my Signature Couple Pose, I always try to do it a tad different every time, I love their version!

The Engle Family...

Meet The Engle Family.... this is the family I had the opportunity to work with in Washington DC about a month ago. Their friends and family were great to be around and welcomed us right into their home. Their youngest son, grew to love Mr. Kevin, and wrestling with him.
