My Oldest Son...
My Oldest Son Dave turned 15 the other day, so today we did his session! He attends Volcano Vista High School, the perfect place to do a Freshman's images! You can tell he is into the serious look right now, but he sure is handsome! He is getting so big, and towers me literally.... I guess they have to grow up sometime.

Las Vegas... Finally!
Remember months ago, way back in September, when I went to Las Vegas and promised a Sneak Peek, I have finally managed to get through and order my shots from there!
Ceaser's Palace! The decor in there was stunning...

Kevin and I because of our love for Venice, had to go on the Gondola Ride (ok, I made him)
The Strip at night!
Night time off the Eiffel Tower, in downtown Vegas!

1 Year Blogiversary!
A year ago today I set out to do my first BLOG post! I will say there were many things I learned and still need to learn, but I love being able to share with my clients! Here are just a few images that have become some of my fav's from the past! Enjoy~
"Brothers" has not only been hand selected for awards, winning shots, and a favorite of my editor and clients, but is my favorite as well! Why? You see Cody, the little guy is my favorite client. Cody has autism, and I will be honest, he had both his mother and I worried about how this shoot would work out. I am very proud, yet humbly so to announce that he "shot" great for me! More than once in fact, I can't wait to see them again (they live in Germany) just so I can work with not only Cody, but all The Havels!
I love this image! What a beautiful family....

"Newborns" is one of my highest rated images! Who doesn't love a newborn, but those band aids and the hospital bracelet make the whole shot! She was I think not quite 10 hours old, and so precious!

"Kiss The Girl" is the title for this shot! I asked Mr S. here to give big sis a kiss on the cheek, Oh My, the look on all 3 of their faces were priceless! I was so sad when this family moved, they were so fun to work with!
My shot of "Waiting" has been photograph of the month, week, day more times than I can count! I love this shot, as does the mother which is a great compliment to me!
Who doesn't love babies! Miss Little J. was adorable, as was her sweet puppy making sure what I was doing with her baby all along!

Sk8ter Boy!
One of the advantages of being a photographer is being able to shoot your own kids at a whim! Heath's newest, latest, greatest, fun thing to do is skate! Tony Hawk, Ryan Skecler, and Rodney Mullen are just a few of his favorite skaters, so today when he decided he wanted to go skate, I decided why not make it a shoot! I really do like how they turned out, and most of all so does he!

Texas Vineyard...
Even thou I did not go to Texas on a vacation, We were able to stop at one of my favorite places and things to do in this world, visit a vineyard! (Rising Star Vineyards) Going through the vineyard and listening to my friends dad (a true texan cowboy mind you) explain to me what he does there, and all that needs to be done to get the awesome wine they make there, was a very inspiring side trip! Thanks Del!
